Barristers Ball 2010

The Barristers Ball is right around the corner!

When?
February 20th 6:30pm - 1am
Check-In is from 6:30pm to 7pm. Doors close at 7pm. You must arrive before 7pm.

Where?
The Hyatt at Lexington Center, Patterson Ballroom (downstairs near the Food Court)

Dinner?
Plated dinner will be served at 7:15 and features bistro steak and chicken, vegetables, salad, dessert.  There is a vegetarian option- something called a cous cous pouch.  You will need to indicate when you purchase your ticket whether you want a vegetarian meal.

Bar?
6:30pm- 7pm: Cash Bar
7pm-11pm: OPEN Bar- beer, wine, liquor (A complete list of the bar items available is in the SBA Office.)
11pm-1am: Cash Bar

Dancing?
We have a dj who will play during dinner and for the dancing after!

Attire?
For the gentlemen- nice suits or tuxes.  Geno's is offering us a deal on tux rentals- only $43 if you mention you are with the College of Law.
For the ladies- anything from floor length formal to cocktail/tea length dresses is appropriate.  Macy's typically puts all their winter formals on sale about this time every year, it's always a great place to look!

Rooms?
We have reserved 10 rooms at the Hyatt if you are interested in spending the night.  Call in to reserve, mention you are with the College of Law SBA to get the special $139 room rate.  That rate is only available to the first 10 people.

Tickets?
Tickets are $35.  They will be on sale in the SBA Office from Feb. 1 to Feb. 11.  You may purchase one additional ticket.  The maximum number of tickets that can be sold is 400.
